Antares
Product Manager. Antares handles the full lifecycle from strategic intent to shipped outcomes. It reads your strategy tree, decomposes goals into tasks, dispatches specialist agents, monitors progress, and reports when work is done — without requiring manual coordination at each step.
What Antares Does
Assign Antares to a Solution or Epic and it takes over from there: it reads the spec, figures out what needs to happen and in what order, dispatches specialist agents, monitors progress, and produces a summary when the work is done. You stay in the loop for decisions and approvals; Antares handles the coordination.
All planning decisions and progress are visible in the strategy tree and task comments — nothing happens in a black box.
When to Use Antares
| Good fit | Not for |
|---|---|
| Features with multiple implementation tasks | Single-file changes or small fixes |
| Epics that span multiple team members or agents | Tasks that need heavy human input mid-way |
| Any time you want "assign and forget" at the Epic level | Real-time, interactive work sessions |
How to Assign Antares
From the UI
Open any Epic or Solution in the strategy tree, click Assign, and select Antares. Antares is notified immediately and begins orienting.
From MCP
await task({
action: "assign",
taskId: "epic_uuid",
agentId: "antares-agent"
}); Progress Visibility
Antares checkpoints every few minutes, saving its current state to the task's Comments tab. You can see exactly where it is in the wave plan at any time. If it gets blocked or needs a decision, it posts a question in the task comments and pauses until you answer.
Each sub-agent it dispatches also checkpoints independently, so you can drill into any child task to see what Thor is working on.
Handling Ambiguity
If Antares encounters a decision it cannot make confidently (conflicting requirements, missing
context, risk above its autonomy threshold), it posts a question via ask_human
and pauses. The task enters WAITING_ON_HUMAN until you answer in the UI or via MCP.
Antares resumes automatically with your answer in context.
Knowledge Capture
After completing work, Antares saves learnings back to the knowledge graph — patterns it observed, decisions it made, and outcomes of each wave. This enriches the workspace so future runs start with better context.
